Syria and Labour MPs with a conscience

If Labour MPs have a conscientious objection to war, to all military action on grounds of principle, they should vote against bombing in Syria whatever Jeremy Corbyn or the whips have got to say. If their conscience had only been discovered over Syria, if they have supported military action in the past and would do so again, then their demand for a free vote is thoroughly dishonest and they should be challenged. Jeremy Corbyn should stick to his guns, impose a three-line whip and take on the supporters of war.
